One World Goods is a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to enhance the social and economic conditions of artisans around the world through fair trade by providing a marketplace for their products and increasing awareness of global poverty and economic injustice.

One World Goods believes in supporting the  local community through its business activities in addition to our commitment to the global community. We are fortunate in Rochester to be able to directly support local non-profit organizations such as Mary Cariola and Healthy Sister’s Soup & Bean Works by distributing their quality products in our store. We also partner with local community non-profits by hosting in store fundraisers. A Brief History of One World Goods

A small group of churchwomen with a desire to aid artisans living in impoverished areas of the world organized sales of fair trade goods at local churches and schools. Merchandise was stored at a local home and carted to sales in their cars.
 Sales were going well so the decision was made to open a brick & mortar location in Fairport, NY.
One World Goods was established as a not-for-profit 501-C-3 Corporation in the State of New York with an all-volunteer Board of Directors.
One World Goods moved to Pittsford Plaza and in the first year sales increased significantly.
Our 1st Oriental Rug event was held over Columbus Day weekend.
One World Goods celebrates 25th anniversary.
One World Goods celebrates 30th anniversary.
